I was really amazed at how I ate foods I’ve always thought I had to get rid of when I dieted. Warren really understood how to show me what was causing me to fail in the past. For once I like fitness and it wasn’t because it’s new years or I was pumped up by some trainer. I wish this was more mainstream!

As a Head Nurse for surgery the stress runs deep and causes weight control issues nation wide in the nursing field. In mainstream media stress alone has been used to blame weight issues. The fact is stress causes people to either eat more or that life style which causes stress has them eating more dense calorie foods like restaurants and fast food. So if you are in a stressful environment and can’t seem to get control of your weight then the first step is to track your calories in detail. Do not estimate! Then get professional help in determining the calories you burn a day. Using these numbers maintain a slight deficit in calories. Hire a professional to help you. It is worth every penny and you do end up saving money in the long run.

Warren’s program was able to not only lean me down to about 2% bodyfat but also I was not losing weight like I did before and ended up in a higher weight class. If you know anything about bodybuilding it is common for contestants muscles to not get a full pump because of low glycogen in the muscles. With no help supplement wise Warren knows exactly how to 1) get you ripped 2) get all fluids out between skin and muscle 3) and fill the muscles to full pump when on stage. I started with Warren Martin Fitness Programs because I wanted to put on some muscle. The program has brought me to goals past just building muscle. I now upon completion of high school will be going to a college in Florida and I’m enrolled with Marine Corp ROTC.

Approximately 20 months ago a friend of mine introduced me to Warren. Like many individuals I was trying to lose weight and had reached a plateau. I had also been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in my lower back, making it extremely painful to workout. I was on a regular regimen of muscle relaxers so I could sleep at night and move during the day. Needless to say I was VERY discouraged and did not enjoy working out. The first day I met with Warren, I explained all my aches, pains, eating habits, exercise routines and diets I had previously tried. Through a serious of assessment exercises he was able to determine what areas I needed work. He requested I keep track of my food intake for one week to enable him to suggest a menu providing me with the adequate nutrients I would need to lose weight and still feel good. During one of our early visits Warren mentioned muscle strengthening and range of motion exercises which would help strengthen the back muscles, assisting with posture and eliminating some of the pain in my lower back. He told me I was “out of balance” – imagine that?!? Of course, I was very skeptical at this point, but figured I would work with it and see what happened. At the beginning workouts were mostly stretching, core and balancing exercises. As time progressed weights and cardio were added. I began to see the pounds and inches disappear. I was following the suggested nutrition pIan (not perfectly), working out 4-5 times per week and I had more energy than I had in years!! What was even more amazing I had not taken a muscle relaxer in weeks! My back felt better than it had in years and workouts were now something I looked forward to. In March 2010 I ran the Little Rock half-marathon and finished in just under 3 hours. I began training for this in October 2009 with Warren’s assistance. If you had asked me a few years ago if I would run any distance, I would have said ‘absolutely not’. Now I am considering running again in March 2012. There is a lot more to Warren than just losing weight. He provides motivation, nutritional advice, stretching and core exercises.
